A Wall Fountain That Does Not Go On a Wall
A wall fountain is the right look for a narrow space and usually the wrong job to take on. Mounting one means drilling into brick or render, finding anchors that will hold thirty pounds of piece plus the water it carries, and hiding a cord down a wall. Plenty of people want the look and stop at the install.
This one gives you the look standing on the ground. The face is a tall ribbed panel in a warm bronze tone, recessed into a smooth frame. The water leaves a lit spout at the top, crosses a small basin, then runs down the full height of the ribbing as a wide curtain into the lower basin. From three feet away it reads as a wall piece. It is holding itself up on a gray plinth.
Eleven inches of depth is the number that makes it useful. It sits against a fence, a render wall, a balcony rail or the side of a house without projecting into the walkway, which a bowl fountain at the same height cannot do.

A balcony, a narrow side return, a walkway you do not want to lose width in, or the space beside a door are all natural spots. It needs about a foot of depth. Level ground matters here, since a wide curtain over a ribbed face shows a tilt immediately as an uneven sheet.
