THIRTEEN STREAM WATERFALL

Thirteen Streams, and the Lights Switch Separately

Thirteen streams is the number to start with. Most fountains at this height give you five or six falls, one per tier. This one has nine tiers and thirteen separate streams distributed across them, which means more than one stream on several of the levels and a face that is moving in thirteen places at once.

The rock is cast jagged rather than smoothly layered, with broken edges and irregular shelves, so the streams do not all behave the same way. Some come off a wide shelf as a sheet, some off a narrow point as a thread. That variation is what stops thirteen streams from reading as a repeated pattern.

Eight lights are spread across multiple levels rather than clustered at the base, and they sit on their own plug. Run the water with the lights off in the afternoon, or light the rock in the evening with the pump off when you want the yard quiet. Most pieces in this range give you one switch for both.

What You Get With This Jagged Rock Fountain

  1. 01

Thirteen independent streams across nine tiers.

More than one stream on several levels, so the face is moving in thirteen places at once rather than stepping down a single line of falls.

  2. 02

    Two independent plugs.

Water without lights, lights without water, or both. Almost everything at this size wires the pump and the LEDs to one cord.

  3. 03

    Jagged rather than layered.

Broken edges and irregular shelves, so some streams come off wide as a sheet and some off a point as a thread. Thirteen identical falls would just look like a pattern.

  4. 04

Eight lights spread across the levels.

Not gathered at the base. The rock reads from bottom to top after dark rather than glowing at the foot and going dark above.

Where to put it

It is a compact footprint for the height, nineteen and a half by fourteen inches, so it fits a corner or a spot against a fence where a wider piece would not. Give it a dark surface behind it and the lit streams read much better after dark. Level ground matters with thirteen streams, since a tilt sends several of them off their intended edge at once. You need two outlets, or one with a two socket adapter.

Questions About This Jagged Rock Fountain

How can nine tiers have thirteen streams
Several of the tiers carry more than one stream. The rock is cast with multiple edges on some levels rather than a single lip, so the water leaves at more points than there are steps.
Why two plugs
So the pump and the eight lights work independently. Run the water in the afternoon with the lights off, or light the rock in the evening with the pump off when you want the yard quiet. One outlet with a two socket adapter handles both.
How much ground does it take
Nineteen and a half inches by fourteen, which is compact for forty seven inches of height. It fits a corner or a spot against a fence where a wider rock piece would not go.
What is the difference between jagged and layered
Layered rock is cast as flat stacked shelves and the water steps off each one the same way. Jagged is cast with broken irregular edges, so some streams come off wide as a sheet and some off a point as a thread. With thirteen streams that variation is what keeps it from looking mechanical.

Ships free from California or New Jersey, and it is covered for three years.

Best housewarming gift

I bought this for my daughter's new house and she is obsessed. The jagged look is very rugged and unique.

Box was badly damaged

3 stars. The cardboard box was torn and crushed. The resin survived okay, but they really need better packaging for heavy items.

One LED died

2 stars. The waterfall works perfectly, but one of the 8 LED lights burned out after just a month. Hard to replace.

Great for meditation

The rushing water sound is very consistent and calming. I use it as the focal point for my morning yoga.

Two plugs take up the whole outlet

4 stars. I love that I can turn the lights off, but having two separate plugs means I can't plug my string lights into the same outdoor outlet.

Needs leveling on grass

4 stars. Don't put it straight on soft dirt. I had to lay down a patio paver to keep it from leaning forward and spilling water.

Arrived with a broken ledge

2 stars. One of the jagged rock ledges was snapped off in the box. I just glued it back on rather than deal with a return.

FedEx damaged the box

1 star. The driver rolled this 67 lb box up my driveway. The bottom basin was cracked when I opened it. Currently waiting on support.

We apologize for the delivery experience! A replacement unit is on its way to you.

Hard water stains show up

4 stars. I didn't use distilled water, and now there's a white crust on the dark shale. Use distilled water guys!

Fits nicely beside the door

We put this right by our front entryway. It's welcoming but doesn't block the path. Perfect dimensions.

Excellent customer support

I had a question about draining it for winter and they answered my email in 10 minutes. Great company.

Power cords are short

4 stars. The power cords are only standard length. You will likely need an outdoor extension cord if your outlet isn't close.

Paint chipped slightly on arrival

4 stars. There was a tiny chip on one rock revealing white resin underneath. A grey marker fixed it instantly, so no big deal.

Fast delivery

Arrived right on time and in perfect condition. The box is heavy so have a dolly ready.

A bit loud for a small patio

3 stars. With 13 streams, it is a very loud fountain. It's great for covering road noise, but a bit overwhelming for a quiet, small seating area.

No fading in the sun

We live in a sunny climate and the rock color has held its earthy tones beautifully all year.

Heavy to move alone

4 stars. Just be careful! 60+ lbs is heavy for a bulky item. You should probably have a friend help you set it in place.

R

Wish the pump cord had a switch

4 stars. The water flows perfectly, but there's no on/off switch on the cord. You have to unplug it from the wall to turn it off.

Slightly darker than photos

4 stars. The stone color is a bit more dark charcoal than the lighter brown shown in the pictures. Still very nice.

Beautiful 8-LED glow

5 stars. At night, the 8 lights catch every single stream of water. It turns my backyard into a magical oasis.

Hard to clean the bottom reservoir

3 stars. The bottom basin holds a lot of water, but reaching in to scrub out algae through the small back opening is cramped.

The 13 streams are mesmerizing

5 stars. The way the water splits into so many different little waterfalls is hypnotic. It is the most beautiful fountain I have ever owned.

Pump failed quickly

1 star. The fountain is nice but the water pump completely died after 2 months. Now I just have a dry rock sitting in my yard.

A replacement pump has been shipped! We stand by our 1-year warranty.

Perfect white noise

The water trickling over the rocks provides the best white noise for reading outside. Extremely peaceful.

Wilderness in the city

It brings a touch of nature to our urban patio. The cascading flow is visually perfect.

Evaporates incredibly fast

3 stars. Because the water splits into 13 columns, the surface area exposed to the air is huge. In the summer heat, I have to refill it daily.

Very impressed with the finish

It doesn't look cheap or plasticky at all. Highly recommend if you want a natural stone look.

Sturdy and well made

The poly-resin is thick and feels very durable. It has survived a few light freezes (drained) with no cracks.
