GARDEN STOOLS
He Is Holding the Toadstool Up for You
A bearded gnome in a blue coat and black boots stands with a red and white spotted toadstool balanced on his head and shoulders. The cap is the seat.
The comic logic is the point. He is not sitting on the mushroom, he is carrying it, and the more weight goes on it the more he appears to be struggling. Children read that instantly, which is why the product photograph has one on it.
Fifteen inches, cast in concrete and sealed for year round outdoor use. It is a seat, a plant stand and a piece of garden character in the same object.
What Makes This Piece Different
- A joke that works without explanation. The gnome is carrying the toadstool rather than sitting under it, so putting weight on the cap makes him look like he is taking the strain. Children get it in a second and adults smile at it, which is more than most garden ornaments manage. It is the reason this one gets pointed out to visitors.
- Red and white where the garden is green. A spotted toadstool cap is the one color combination that shows from a distance in planting. The blue coat and white beard finish it off.
- Fifteen inches, which is child seat height. Comfortable for a child to sit on, and the right height for a pot, a lantern or a drink when nobody is using it as a seat.
- Concrete rather than resin. Sealed for year round outdoor use with real weight in it, so it does not blow around or need bringing in for winter.
A porch, a path edge, a border, under a tree. Cottage and family gardens suit it, and it works well where children pass. The red cap holds against green planting, so it does not need a pale background.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Placement
One piece, nothing to assemble. Set it on level solid ground so it does not rock in use.
Using it as a seat
Shown with a child seated on the cap. Sit down onto it rather than dropping onto it, as with any hard surface.
Keeping the color
Red fades faster than most pigments in relentless sun. A position with afternoon shade keeps the cap strong for considerably longer.
Winter
Sealed concrete stays outside year round. Check it is not standing in water through the wet months.
3-year warranty
This product includes a 3-year warranty against cracking. Coverage, claim requirements and required documents are subject to the warranty policy that applies at the time of purchase. Keep your order confirmation and contact customer support with your order details if service is needed.
Questions Before You Choose
How does it compare to the frog stool?
The frog is photographed with an adult sitting on it and reads as a working seat first. This one is shown with a child and leans further into character. Same height, different balance between function and fun.
Is it for children only?
It is shown with a child, and children are who it delights. As a plant stand or a spot for a lantern it earns its place regardless of who sits on it.
Will the red fade?
Red pigment is the first to lift in full sun on any painted piece. Afternoon shade keeps it strong much longer.
Can it stay out all year?
Yes, sealed concrete for year round outdoor use. Just keep it off ground that holds standing water.

At 15 inches, this gnome is the perfect height to hold my potted fern in the hallway. The flat mushroom top is very secure.
Weighing 16 lbs, I was surprised by how solid it feels. It sits on our patio and doesn't wobble at all when holding our morning coffee.
It looks exactly like the pictures. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to add a bit of magic to their everyday life.
The fairy-tale aesthetic is so cute. My kids use it as a little reading stool in their playroom. It brings a smile to everyone's face.
It is pleasant to look at and works well as a table. The composite feel is obvious when you touch it, but visually it works great.
It's a great side table, but at 15 inches tall, it's a bit low for an adult to sit on comfortably for long. Works great for kids though!
We run a small outdoor cafe and put this near the entrance for people to set drinks on. Clients constantly compliment the fun vibe.
The red toadstool cap and the gnome's blue tunic are so vibrant. It really adds that perfect cottagecore vibe to my garden.
It is a nice functional art piece. The red mushroom is very, very bright. It stands out a lot, which is fine, but just be aware.
The transition from plant stand to extra seating when guests arrive is seamless. It supports my weight without any flexing.
The way the sun hits the bright red cap draws your eye down to the garden. A very thoughtful and fun design for a yard.
I placed this holding a plant in my pediatric clinic waiting room. The kids adore the classic gnome with the white beard.
Fits perfectly in the corner of our patio. We just wipe it down every few weeks to keep the dust off, and it looks brand new.
We use it between our two lounge chairs on the deck. The mushroom top is perfectly flat so drinks never spill.
Make sure you know where you want it! 16 lbs is great for wind resistance, but it's a solid chunk of composite to carry around the yard.
Brings a wonderful touch of whimsical elegance. The colorful design contrasts beautifully with the green ferns around it in the yard.
The structure is hard and full of detail. My only complaint is that moving the box it arrived in was a bit tough since it was heavy.
We use it indoors near our large windows as a plant pedestal. The UV resistant coating means I don't worry about it fading.
It is a cute stool. Just check the 15-inch height before buying. It works perfectly as a small side table but don't expect dining chair height.
Creates a fun, storybook atmosphere in our backyard. The weatherproof composite is holding up perfectly against the rain.
It does exactly what it says. The flat top is nice. The design is simple, maybe a bit too cartoonish for some, but it fits my patio perfectly.
We put this in our indoor living room as a plant stand. Being freestanding and 16 lbs made it easy for one person to position safely.
I love that it is a 3-in-1 piece. I've used it as an extra seat when friends came over and as a table for my books.
You really cannot tell it isn't real carved wood or stone until you tap it. They nailed the authentic cottagecore texture perfectly.
The hand-painted colors are so vivid. It stays upright during windy days perfectly because of the low center of gravity.
We've left it outside all summer. The paint is tough and effective against the UV rays. Highly recommend this brand.
The gnome brings such a nice whimsical element to our flowerbed. It genuinely looks like a magical fairy-tale creature helping out.
The gnome setup looks very serene. I deducted a star because unboxing all the styrofoam was a huge mess in my living room.
My grandkids fight over who gets to sit on the mushroom stool when they visit. It is completely wobble-free and very safe for them.
I loved that I could just pull it out of the box and put it on the porch. No assembly at all. Ready to use immediately!
A truly textural piece. It adds an earthy, fun element to our outdoor seating area. Highly recommended for any large patio or deck.
Works nicely as a plant stand. The beard detail is a little less textured than I thought, but it's still very cute overall.
Added this to our sunroom and it brought the whole space a pop of joy. It is a fantastic conversation starter with guests.
