Setup and placement

Water level and daily care

Is it real terracotta?
No, it is resin with a terracotta and timber finish. Real fired clay at this size would be considerably heavier and far more fragile, and the timber would need protecting from constant water. From normal viewing distance the ribbing and grain read as the real materials.
Is it safe around children and pets?
At 7.3 pounds it is easy to knock off a surface, so keep it away from table edges and out of reach of small children and cats. Run the cord so it cannot be pulled. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
